Damn GOOD! I was wrong when I guessed this movie was just another love story but it's more than that. This is the type of content we need right now. I'm also a buff of Nicholas Spark movies when it comes to Rom-com and this movie is way better than many overrated rom-com movies both in Hollywood and Bollywood. It's too simple and comes with a great message. Of course, Malhar Thakkar and Manasi Parekh have made a great visual impact by playing brilliant character performances. Especially Malhar's character arc transitioning beautifully from a man of false pride and achievements to a man who actually starts to try because he's started to learn and accept how to digest tragic moments in life looking at his love interest. The plot is brilliantly executed and managed as well. Manasi's stand-up jokes are literally funnier than many stand-up debacles. I mean not just for the paid audience inside the film but also as a movie-watcher you will laugh out loud. I also loved how their parents come up with many ingenious ways to stitch the broken-up couple and make them realise that love is all about trying and not giving up or breaking up.
I would watch this wonderful movie again and again!
At the time of timepass, loud content and excess masala n routine recipe, this movie has come as fresh air. Wonderful concept n subtle emotions. It has the freshness of subtle romance, family nokjhonk, love n strength of family.The new generation where both partners are equally there for everything.
This is a new age Gujarati movie with tadka of everything in appropriate proportion for the perfect taste of GODKERI.
And performance of everyone was wonderful, Vandana Pathak was such a natural charmer, every smile of hers was sparkling the screen,she has played the character flawlessly. Malhar was as always very good n effective..Mansi and Sachin were excellent. .
It's a beautiful movie , it a MUST WATCH MOVIE. I am not a Gujarati movie goer...but this movie changed my perception . Subtle yet mind blowing.Just go go go....for this movie.
I will not tell you the story or the concept, i would say just watch it
And movie made with simplicity and touches you is always a good film.
"Golkeri" is a very simple, emotional, comedy and a must watch movie for everyone. Each an every actor malhar thakar, manasi parekh, sharad kelkar and vandna pathak are all just awesome.
The feel of Malhar thakar emotional scene is best. No one can do it better than him and as Gujarati is my language it relates more.
Kudos to the team and malhar bhai i was your big fan always and now i am big fan of sharad kelkar sir and manasi parekh too..
Best one after "Love Ni Bhavai", waiting for the next Gujarati movie.
