This is definitely not a movie for the masses. This movie will neither spoon-feed you nor entertain. It's like a documentary. When young children with guns die in real life, there aren't sentimental background scores playing or a slow motion camera capturing their fall. If you could see it, even the sight of a young child holding a gun will make you uneasy. But if you couldn't see, then even bodies of children wouldn't shake you up from within. When a mother loses her young son, there isn't a drama around it. There is just silence and awkwardness. This movie has captured it raw, without drama.
It's just a sad thing that we just make movies like this, but...
Movie makers tried to open eyes and see the condition of North East.
Movie is really good but i have one suggestion before watching this movie, read some articles or do some research about the north east condition, rebel groups, etc. Then you will understand this movie otherwise you will get bore.
Brilliantly scripted, performed and edited. Loved the soundtrack.Triggers introspection. Hard hitting reality of how people suffer while big boys play their games.
Just watched it superb script by anubhav sinha,unfortunately it didn't get the box office result and surprised to see some of the critics giving 2.5 rating.like the mainland/plains mainstream viewers the critics haven't understood or want to understand the NE problem.
I see lot of people in the review saying confusing ,they lack the knowledge and history of NE india as most of the mainland indians
